wed oct 29, 2025: the the beginning of the journal

this is my secret-ish journal! It's pretty easy to read if you just copy and paste the text somewhere or something, but the layers of work required to find it and read it makes it feel a bit more intimate! I'll try to write here sometimes.
I'm just gonna talk about what I'm working on right now. so i just finished my looong blender animation for my album beep boop cascade, very relieving to have that finished, and have recently made a new logo for myself thatsa cool lil retro chameleon! i also made some funky letters i can use for cool stuffs. working on making some cool scenes that i can render and use as backgrounds for an app im making. then gotta animate some cool spinning shapes and crystals and shid. i also got a lyre recently! a mini lap harp from the 80s, in very good condition! my dumb ass broke a string while tuning it lol, so i went to a local instrument shop and they helped me find a string that wad about the same width as the fancy c u s t o m m a d e g e r m a n s t e e l strings lol. i got it tuned up, it is fun to play with! i got a contact mic for it, and am waiting on wires and a fun lil toy to come in for it, its like a lil computer that has a buncha guitar pedal effects built into it, very excited to see how the lyre sounds with that c: also, now that i know the strings are steel, i could get magnetic pickups in the future and do some real fun stuff :3 (i learned how pickups work for all this, its really cool, contact mics/pickups use the piezo electricity effect! and the other kind of pickup, used for metal strings, is magnetic! its a few magnets wrapped in copper wire that can p i c k u p on the slight changes in the magnetic field around them created by the metal strings! science id so cool) i will mess with all that when i get back from my trip to houston this weekend tho! my roommates gonna go get a tattoo and i get to see my girlfriend uwu
oh yah! also planning on making a lil animation for my mom cause her birthday is coming up. and still working on a music video project for hauntedpixel. i got a lot of projects lined up haha. ok that's it for my first entry! thanks for reading if you found this c:
